It's time for the final check on your orders, mailing addresses and payment methods, because Kickstarter pledges and Pre-Orders are officially getting locked in 48 hours from now! Kindly make sure your payment methods are still good to go too, as Pre-Orders and any extra add-ons you may have selected after the Kickstarter will now be charged. Thanks guys!
🌱 About half of the plant pins have successfully been delivered to me and have already been graded and backed on their holographic cards :) 2 of the pin designs ("Water Your Plants" & "Superb Herbs") had to be remade due to some manufacturing mistakes, so once those are finished, then the rest of the pins will be shipped to me right away.
That said, the following pins are in-hand and ready to head out to you guys:

👕 Shirts are here!! Thank you SO much to everyone who grabbed a shirt from this campaign 🙌 It means so much to me that you enjoy these designs enough to wear them out in the world, and I hope you're as happy with them as I am :) I've been wearing my personal samples quite a bit lately, and they continue to hold up nicely and be as comfortable as ever!

Hey everyone! 🌱❤ As previously stated in the last update, overall production got a delayed start due to slow shipping of the sample / test run pins. But I'm happy to say now that the full order of Plantastic Pals pins is just about finished and scheduled to ship next week! Woohoooo, we're closer than ever now :D
As a heads up, I'm going to be closing pre-orders JUST for the T-Shirts at the end of this week (Friday). The rest of the ✦ Pre-Order Store ✦ will still be open, but if you or someone you know were eyeing any of the shirts, NOW's your time to snag some before I close orders for them. Again, everything else in the Pre-Order store will still be available until I start order fulfilment.
While we're on the note of orders closing: I'm unfortunately going to have to cancel pre-orders of both the sticker set and the trading card. As you can see, we didn't hit the funding goals for these extra items, so sadly, they're not going to get produced at this time 😢 (Stay tuned though, I'll be keeping the designs in my back pocket and may still produce them down the road!)

✨ New Plant Pin Design! ✨
What's this?! SURPRISE!! A super-secret, brand new bonus plant pin design has just sprouted up, and it's ONLY going to be available to you guys (Kickstarter backers) in the ✦ Pre-Order Store ✦! Jump on this quick though, this is a very limited run of only20 pins, as I was testing out a new manufacturer (who did a great job on these)! You may see other color variants of this "Rooting For You!" pin in the future 👀 but this is going to be your only chance to get this first / original variant:
NOTE: Backers who pre-ordered the sticker set can easily just swap their stickers for this new pin, since they're of the same value 😉 Again, let me know if you need any help with your order!
This limitedpin is first come, first serve. And since it's already produced and paid for, you're guaranteed to receive it with the rest of your Kickstarter order if you've successfully added it to your cart (and don't remove it before order surveys lock in a few weeks).

✦ Production Samples Are In! ✦

Happy last-day-of-May, plant lovers! (Can you believe June's already here?!)
I'm so excited to finally show you pictures of all the sample pins and give an update on the production process :) Without further ado, CHECK OUT all these "test-run" pins that just arrived!
NOTE: On the "Propagate Pro" pin, the final version will have translucent enamel fill for the water in the glass jars, and the roots that are "underwater" will be recessed metal. NOTE 2: On the "Superb Herb" design, the glass dome will actually be clear, transparent glass instead of gray hard enamel fill as shown here.
NOTE: On this "Water Your Plants" design, the following updates were made:
1.) Pin size increased from 1.5" to 1.75" to better enjoy the details and match the other pin sizes (plus now it has 2 back posts instead of 1 for better security)!
2.) The color shift changed from "yellow➡green" to "brown➡green". The yellow color that we attempted in the first sample was far too similar to the green hue, and it was hardly noticeable that the pin even changed colors. I'm personally much happier with the brown starting-color now, since it creates a much more drastic contrast, and frankly, feels a lot more realistic now :)
Q: Does this mean pins are finished and ready to ship out now?
A: I wish, but unfortunately no. "Sample" pins are test-runs that I actually ordered WAY back before the campaign even launched. They were supposed to be here MUCH sooner, but due to heavy delays and stops with China's international shipping, these have only just now arrived. My factory makes about 3 copies of each pin for me to check in person and make any necessary adjustments to before the full production run begins 👍
Q: I see samples of the rose gold variants too! Will those be available to add to my pledge now?
A: Because these variants didn't get unlocked during the campaign, I sadly will not be able to offer them at this time (aside from the rose gold mini pins--those are 100% available). That said, if there's enough interest for the main pins in rose gold, I've been considering alternate ways to make them available.

So as mentioned above, shipping has been absolutely crazy overseas right now. I'm seeing it across multiple industries and orders, not just with this project right now. China has continuously been facing more Covid lockdowns and restrictions, as well as sporadic power outages across numerous cities. Additionally, I keep getting informed about staffing shortages at the shipping facilities. All of this is playing into shipments getting heavily delayed, which affects everybody in the process.
The good news is that my manu has managed to stay on top of things for the most part, and pin production itself is still running smoothly. The issue comes down to shipping facilities, which is unfortunately out of both my and my manu's control. We're both continuing to monitor things as much as possible, but I must inform you guys that the final delivery of these pins is likely going to be a bit later than we anticipated.

I was hoping to have the full production run ordered a few weeks ago, but since the samples showed up so late, I'm only just now able to make the needed adjustments and order the full amount. My sincerest apologies for the slow start, and I hope to have your understanding and patience as we move forward in the process! The good news is, there's still plenty of time double check your mailing address & payment methods on your reward surveys, and make sure everything you want to get is locked into your cart. 🛒✨

It's go time! 💪🌱 All backers should now have a reward survey in their email inbox (if you don't see it, be sure to check the spam folder)! I appreciate each of you a ton and thank you in advance for getting these surveys filled out as soon as possible, so that I can know how many of each pin design to order :) The survey should be pretty straight forward, but of course if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help.
Even though the set of 15 holographic stickers and the foil trading card didn't get unlocked during the live Kickstarter campaign, you will still see them as active Stretch Goals inside the Backerkit reward survey. This means that if enough of you want to add them on to your order, we can still unlock those items and get them funded for production! If the minimum order amounts don't get met though, then the stickers / trading card won't get produced, and you'll then be able to apply the credit for those towards other items.
